Ads Manager 2.0

We expanded our analytics to include avatar items, helping creators understand the demographics that their items are most popular with. We launched the beta of the text generation API that enables creators to implement LLM-powered gameplay mechanics. We renamed Creator Marketplace to Creator Store and launched the ability for Creators to start pricing assets in fiat and provide their financial information to enable payouts. We introduced a Developer Console tool to help creators debug and solve issues with memory usage and memory leaks. We expanded phone verification to 100% of eligible users in Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Columbia, Chile, Peru. We expanded profiling capacity with new features in our Script Profiler to help creators.

We overhauled Studio’s Explorer, the primary way creators use to manage and organize assets, by improving performance and eliminating most hangtime. We announced our Cube 3D platform, and launched it’s first capability that allows creators to generate objects in Studio.

Creators can now add music to their experiences via our new integration with our partner Distrokid. Eligible creators can now run price tests to find the best price is for each of their in-game products, helping creators grow revenue without sacrificing user engagment. Everyone on Roblox can now filter their charts by device and country, to help them find the right experiences and games.

Proactive marketplace archival

We made model improvements leveraging real-time and richer sequential user history to inform our recommendations system. We launched Rights Manager that enables rights holders to protect their IP by requesting the removal of infringing content or assets. We removed obsolete code and deferred initialization where possible resulting in improved start up times ~15% across devices. We made improvements to physics on our platform, enabling more accurate interactions between fluids and forces.

We enabled creators to measure where and when people in their experiences make purchases, allowing them to optimize their monetization. Paid access experiences are now eligible for Engagement Based Payouts, which awards Robux to creators for the amount of time spent and number of premium players in the experience. The real-time translation API allows creators to translate text into player’s local langues programtically, enabling better automatic localization of experiences.

Opening up Marketplace to more creators

We expanded controller emulation in Studio enabling creators to test their experiences in VR including Quest 2 and Quest 3 without the need for physical hardware. We expanded publisher eligibility for Immersive Ads and launched Brand Suitability controls, which allows advertisers to choose between eligible categories of experiences to show their Immersive Ads. All experiences regardless of when they were created will be eligible to offer subscriptions, as long as the creator has an ID or phone-verified account. We improved debugging by giving creators insight into the number and type of API calls that might be impacting their experience’s performance. We upgraded our water and shoreline system, enabling more realistic interactions where water meets land in experiences. We made it easier for creators to get the word out about in-experience events by enabling custom thumbnails & notifications for people who engage with their experience. We began a test to increase the amount of server memory available to creators, enabling creators to create experience that can support more content and more players. We launched search ads providing creators and brands another way to reach new and current audiences based on what they’re searching on Roblox. Our audio API was fully released, enabling creators to build more complicated and rich audio interactions in their experiences. Accessory adjustment tooling launched for creators, empowering them to seamlessly integrate accessory customization into their experiences.
